The Hudson County Division of Parks has nine parks including Stephen R. Gregg Park and Mercer Park in Bayonne, Columbus Park in Hoboken, Lincoln Park and Lincoln Park West in Jersey City, James Braddock Park in North Bergen, Washington Park in Union City and Northern Jersey City, West Hudson Park in Kearny and Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus. Hudson County also has many municipal parks. Liberty State Park, the county's largest, was once been part of a large oyster bed, and was reclaimed in the 1970s.

The Hudson River Waterfront Walkway
The Hudson River Waterfront Walkway is located on the shores of Upper New York Bay and the Hudson River, and its northern end is in Palisades Interstate Park.

Liberty State Park
Liberty State Park is located in Jersey City along the Hudson River with views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island.

Hackensack RiverWalk
Hackensack RiverWalk is a trail along Newark Bay and Hackensack River. The eight mile walkway follows the water's edge, will run between The Bayonne Bridge and Bellmans Creek.

Snake Hill
Snake Hill is rock about 150 feet up from the floor of the Meadowlands in Secaucus. Snake Hill is a familiar landmark to travelers on the New Jersey Turnpike. The rock most often referred to as Laurel or Snake Hill has also called Fraternity Rock because of the greek letters painted by local college fraternities.

The Bayonne Bridge
The Bayonne Bridge is the third longest steel arch bridge in the world, and was the longest in the world at the time of its completion. It connects Bayonne, New Jersey with Staten Island, New York, spanning the Kill Van Kull. The total length of the bridge is 8,640 feet with a mid-span clearance above the water of 150 feet.
